In the last posts I told you about my first clients in the Atlanta area. One particular client, referred by a colleague in South Florida, is proving to be quite  a champion for me.

I mentioned in the last post that she is a hairdresser in a shop in an upscale suburb of Atlanta, and she now has my cards and copies of the Conscious Dating book.

This week she tells me that her friends and family in South Florida want to buy copies of the book and do coaching with me on the phone.

Private Practice Marketing: This Stuff Really Works!

On Monday I told you about the first 3 new clients, how they were referred, and what we can learn from it to build our practices.

I sent a thank you e-mail to the referral source in South Florida and got the note below back this morning:

"Thanks, I'm so glad they actually came in!  (Hey, this practice building stuff really does work if you work it!) :)  The law of reciprocation is, as usual, in full swing."

That's so nice to hear, as part of the purpose of this blog was to put my new practice where my mouth is and demonstrate that this stuff really does work.

The First Clients!

A day to celebrate last week. Got my first 3 clients. Here is how they came my way:

1. Client 1 - From the web site www.ConsciousDatingAtlanta.com and the newsletter from the site.

2. Client 2 -  From a customer of my web sites, a therapist in South Florida, who had a colleague who had a client that was moving to Atlanta and needed a coach.

3. Client 3 - Referred by client 2 before I even saw client 2.

So let's take a look at how these 3 new clients came my way in a totally new practice in a totally new place;

1. From a good prospect pulling web site.

2. From networking and having products to sell on the web sites.

3. From word of mouth. A nice benefit for the future is that one of these new clients is a hair stylist who hears the relationship problems of clients all day every day, and now this person has a referral source for these folks!
